Broccoli is our crop par excellence and experience. We currently grow more than 400 ha of organic broccoli during the year. We’re leaders in production and export in northern Spain because of our capacity for adaptation and meeting European quality protocols and standards. Organic broccoli is one of the foods that has the most benefits for our bodies. It’s a source of antioxidants and other positive substances that only in recent decades have begun to reveal themselves as invaluable sources of health. It’s a food that is safe for diabetics, overweight and obese people and people with heart disease. It can be cooked in a thousand ways and it’s one of the vegetables that can be best combined for making recipes.
Its richness in nutrients sets it apart. It’s been confirmed to have the greatest nutritional value by unit of weight. And it’s gained attention, alongside all the crucifers, for its capacity to help reduce the risk of having certain kinds of cancer.
